Tag 030 / Day 030

Liebes Bautagebuch,

Der Transporter ist nun leer und kann weg! Max kümmerte sich um alles! Danach fuhren Max und der eingesammelte Julian wieder nach Sellstedt. Währenddessen holen Cristina, Miriane und Bernd in Frankfurt bei der ARNOLD AG Stahlteile ab – und bringen sie natürlich nach Sellstedt. Wo es schon wieder heiß herging, denn Manuel und Rebecca bereiteten die beiden Kertoträger vor. Kerto – ein Tier von Träger;-) Massives Holz, stolze 12 m lang, 9 cm dick und 2 m hoch! Er ist das konstruktiv wichtigste Teil des Hauses. Deshalb halfen die Profis Max und Julius auch tatkräftig mit;-) Nebenbei begannen die Arbeiten an der Nordwand. Nur leider ging das Material aus. Erste Opfer: Rebecca hat sich erkältet, Julius hat sich prompt angesteckt und leidet dementsprechend doppelt.

Day 30: Friday, 16th April

Dear “Manu,

The transporter was unloaded and ready to be given back. Max handled everything, picked up Julian and drove back to Sellstedt. In the meantime Christina, Miriane and Bernd had picked up the steel material at the ARNOLD AG in Frankfurt – and of course brought it to Sellstedt as well. Time again the heat had been already up in Sellstedt because Manuel and Rebecca prepared the two “Kertoträger”. And Kerto is said to be the king of the jungle, yes it is!!!  Massive wood, 12 metres long, 9 cm thick and 2 metres high!!!! Actually, it is the most important part for the construction of the house. At the same time one started to work at the north wall. But unfortunately, the material ran out.
Note of first victims: Rebecca has gotten a cold and infected Julius who – needless to say – is suffering twice.
